SUMMARY:Co-Action: A CUBE Co-development Program
DESCRIPTION:https://innovationcube.ca/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/CO-ACTION-PROMO-VIDEO-OCT-2020.mp4\nCo-development is an innovative collaborative training and learning method to problem-solving based on knowledge and experience sharing. Founded on flexibility and trust\, this approach requires participants to commit to identifying and examining all options\, maintaining positive relationships\, and supporting final decisions. This theory has been successfully delivered in other provinces such as Quebec. \nProgram Description \nUsing a collaborative approach\, the CUBE Sandbox/Makerspace will deliver a 6-month interactive program designed to expose post-secondary students to co-developmental problem-solving theory. Participants will build skills in the areas of problem-solving\, critical thinking\, innovation\, ideation\, and collaboration.  They will gain a deeper understanding of entrepreneurship through the exploration of real-time industry challenges. In addition\, student participants will receive a stipend for attendance. \n  \nCo-Action: A Cube co-development program\n\nLearn skills that employers are looking for.\nConnect with industry partners\nWork collaboratively with participants from a variety of disciplines to identify innovative solutions to current industry challenges.\n\nProgram Details: \nParticipants will be required to attend a series of 4 skill-building webinar pre-sessions (Fall) and 4 co-development virtual sessions (Winter). \nParticipants will be eligible for a $300.00 participation stipend.
