The Cube – NSCC Shelburne

As part of the Nova Scotia Sandbox Project, the Cube aims to support the development of an entrepreneurial mindset for post-secondary students, while fostering collaborative partnerships with its surrounding communities. The four Cube sites therefore offer a variety of team-building activities and problem-solving challenges on themes specific to the industries and organizations in southwest Nova Scotia.

Working collaboratively with each of the other three Cube sites, the NSCC Shelburne Campus location focuses on creating opportunities for post-secondary students, industry partners, and community members to engage in entrepreneurial skill building activities. The Shelburne location of the Cube provides an Oceans related focus that supports both the Fishery and Aquaculture industries. In addition, we offer activities designed to encourage collaboration, innovation, idea sharing, creativity and an entrepreneurial mindset in all areas of interest.
