Project Description
The Cube – Université Sainte-Anne
As part of the Nova Scotia Sandbox Project, the Cube aims to support the development of an entrepreneurial mindset for post-secondary students, while fostering tight collaborations with its surrounding communities. The four Cube sites therefore offer a variety of team-building activities and problem-solving challenges on themes specific to the industries and organizations in southwest Nova Scotia.
Working collaboratively with the other three Cube sites at NSCC, Université Sainte-Anne’s Church Point campus has a focus dedicated to Bio-Innovation. This topic allows the support of local industries in the sectors of Fisheries, Agri-food and Natural Resources. Areas of interest also lie in Sustainable Development, Green Energies, and the Environment, Fauna and Flora. Post-secondary students from all disciplines are welcome to join the Cube initiatives and are encouraged to work together to not only get inspired, but also to stimulate idea-sharing and collaboration. With most of its sessions and activities offered in French, the Cube site at Université Sainte-Anne contributes directly to the leadership role the institution has with Acadian and francophone communities.
